5 player game of me, Mel, Rachel, John, and Josiah. Went through the motions until Josiah became the traitor AGAIN! "Skeletons of small animals litter the floor. As you walk, bones crunch under your feet. If only you didn't have to walk in this horrid, crunchy place. What was that? It feels as though the ground is trembling. No... not trembling... moving. This house is moving?! Can that happen? What was that? It sounded like the rustling of feathers. As you turn, two glittering eyes peer down at you from the rafters and you hear a soft hoot. Something about that Owl reminds you of your best friend. Could it be...? There must be some way to get your friend back. If only you could hear yourself think over the sound of all these crunchy bones underfoot!" So now Josiah is a giant owl trying to crash the house off a cliff and turn us all into owls. It was probably the most convoluted haunt in existence for the traitor. It was very back and forth between us attacking him and him destroying the house and automatically turning us back into owls. Eventually though I beat him and turned him back into a human which was our goal all along. "Phew! Back on solid ground. As you head toward the front door, the bones crunching underfoot sound comforting. Once outside in the cool fall air, you turn to ask your friend what on earth they were thinking, trying to turn you all into owls. "Well," your friend says with a grin, "I just thought it'd be a hoot." You all laugh (or groan) and head out into the night. Behind you, the house slowly begins to walk away." So now we're all human in the most convoluted, broken, bullshit haunt since the poltergeist one. Also this is haunt 93 marked complete with this group for the star haunt. 1/4 done.

Betrayal 39
5 player game of me, Mel, Rachel, John, and Josiah. Went through the motions when Josiah became the traitor in a base game haunt. While exploring the house, we come across an interesting tale. Years ago, the Romanescus, an ancient royal family, made its last stand in this very house. All but one were murdered by their own guards. Studying the family's genealogy, you realize that one of you is the heir to the Romanescu fortune. If the true heir sits on a throne in this house, then the fortune will be restored to the last Romanescu. Looking around in amazement, you realize that one of your friends is missing. You pale as you think back on how that "friend" muttered something about "wrapping up a loose end" in the house. Better find that throne and get the heir on it fast. Josiah has a lot of hidden assassin's that can do 2 dice of physical damage that we can't defend against. But every time they attack they poison themselves, probably with cyanide capsules. They're all like "NO WITNESSES" but are leaving a shit ton of bodies. I pretty much immediately killed Josiah and impaled his ass with a spear of might 8 and did 12 to his 3. 9 damage that killed his ass immediately. Mel was our secret heir who we were trying to get the ring for, but we could never fucking find it. Eventually one of the assassin's did 4 damage to Mel and killed our heir so we lost. "The heir is dead. Your family's stolen wealth is safe. Walking past the crumbled body, you drop a paper crown beside it. As the crown reddens with the heir's blood, you quietly shut the door." Which slight plot hole here since Josiah as Missy is dead. So yeah the stolen wealth is safe but you gotta assume one of the assassin's put the paper crown there instead.

Betrayal 38
Another 5 player game of Me, Mel, Josiah, John, and Elizabeth. Went through the motions when for the first time in a while Mel became the traitor on an expansion haunt. Apparently she's been possessed by the spirit of an old wild west hangman which meant Mel had to speak with a southern draw for the rest of the game. We all had to guess our own hangman phrases to the theme of "animals". Although she made it super easy with words like "Lion" or "Crow", she underutilized her abilities and lost by singling out Liz in the basement, she couldn't even leave instead of hanging us as we were all hiding on the roof. She managed to kill Liz but the rest of us lived and won.
Betrayal 37
5 player game of me, Mel, Josiah, John, and Elizabeth. Went through the motions when we all became traitors except John which is pretty unique. This was an expansion haunt. Normally it's hero left of the traitor goes first but we decided John should go first so he doesn't immediately get ganked. Apparently we're all poltergeists that John mistook for bored curious citizens exploring the house with him. Our only way to attack is by throwing objects in the room at him by naming the objects. While he was using a piece of paper with the alphabet like a Ouija board and using an item token to guess the letters of the objects. He walked to a room with barely anything in it so he guessed the letters very easily for the few objects because of his high knowledge so he very quickly and easily escaped through the front door and won. As he raced out the front door, his heart pounding as fast as the sound of his feet slapping the sidewalk. He made it out with his mind, body, and spirit intact. As he looked back at the house, he saw that several of the windows are filled with the silhouettes of spectral observers. Yet one window remained vacant, and a warm. Inviting light shines from within, beckoning to potential new residents. This haunt was boring and shit because of the lack of rooms. Probably the worst haunt I've ever played. If we ever play it again then us traitors will go first cause the hero is an overpowered piece of shit. But in Hindsight this haunt ain't bad if we had better sanity stats and a more explored house. We just got fucked is all.
Betrayal 36
Went to the D20 bar with Mel, Josiah and Duncan. And surprisingly ran into Daryl and even more shockingly Levi Witt! For his first game with us 6 playing betrayal with the expansion. We went through the motions as usual when Levi became the traitor. Out of nowhere we hear the creepy sound of a little girls giggle, echoing throughout the halls counting 1, 2, 3, 4. All the way up to 10 in which she then calls out "Olly Olly oxen free! Guess you better find a good hiding spot!" Apparently the traitor has been possessed by a little girl who died in the house while playing hide and seek, and now all she is seeking is revenge. We do not want to be found. Our only way to stop her is to exorcise her spirit from the traitor's body by tossing her doll "friends" in the furnace room. At first we thought we were pretty good as we quickly found a lot of dolls and Levi was slow as shit. Eventually though as we were searching for the furnace, Levi took advantage of my low knowledge and "found" me. I became "it" and was now a traitor bent on finding the others and making them "it". I dropped the doll I was holding. They managed to toss 3 dolls into the furnace before things went bad. I turned Daryl, who then turned Mel, in which both of them turned Duncan, all the while I was chasing Josiah as Missy. Eventually we all surrounded Josiah so he could only move one space per turn and somehow kept holding off all of us with his knowledge and being amazing at hiding apparently. Eventually he did become "It" and Levi won. "I win! I win!" calls the voice, which seems to be coming from every room in the house. Levi momentarily falls out of the girls spell, looking at all of the explorers in the house, their eyes glazed over in a trance. The trance begins to take hold over you again, and as you fall back into the spell, you hear her giggle with glee "and now I have new friends to play with forever...." The end.

Betrayal 35
6 player game of me, Rachel, Dillon, Josiah, Elizabeth, and Josiah's friend and newcomer Duncan with the expansions. Went through the motions as usual when Liz became the traitor on an expansion haunt. Which she immediately had to read her opening and winning condition thanks to Josiah's event card. Apparently she had been setting up a party for months inviting all her monster friends with the band The Cryptkicker Five, and arranged for the house to be filled with stranded bus passengers for entertainment. She must have picked a bad set of victims, though. They're supposed to be screaming and cowering, not fighting back. While we just kinda realized what was going on by finding an invitation to the party someone dropped. So our goal is to banish 3 monsters by moving into the room they are in with the right omen to banish them. We start with Frankenstein's monster, Dracula, and the mummy and we get super excited as we had all the right omens for them. So we set on missions, Duncan to Dracula, Rachel to the Mummy, and me to Frankenstein. Right off the bat Duncan steaks Dracula through the heart. Rachel then banishes the mummy by reading his name from the book of the dead. I slowly make my way to Frankenstein but he reaches the ballroom before I can get to him, and since we can't enter the room we go "Uh oh". It's at this point we guess that she needs 3 monsters to enter the ballroom to win. Crimson Jack and the Zombie Lord enter the game and we realize we might be fucked. Crimson Jack makes it into the ballroom, but right as the Zombie lord is about to enter, Josiah grabs the spear off Duncan and hands me a chainsaw and we both attack the Zombie Lord. He defeats us both and has the special ability that any heroes he defeats that aren't killed are turned traitors. So now with me and Josiah on the winning team I use the Mystic elevator and hurt Duncan the Professor with my chainsaw while Josiah uses his Angel Feather to hit Dillon with a might 8 attack. So Duncan in an effort to save himself runs to and purposely attacks the Zombie Lord so he'll lose and turn traitor. With Duncan now a traitor the Witch enters the house while the Zombie Lord finally enters the Ballroom. The Witch then attacks Dillon with Liz finishing him off with a bullet to Dillon's little boy head from her revolver. Turns out she needs either us all of us dead or 4 monsters in the ballroom. The Witch enters the Ballroom and team traitor wins. All while Rachel hid in the basement where she'll meet her inevitable demise. And so she reads her win "Now the deed is done, the party has just begun. By far one of the best haunts I've ever played with 4 traitors winning to 2 heroes losing.
Betrayal 34
5 player game with me, Mel, Jeremy, Alexis, and Danny. Went through the motions on the expansion. Eventually Alexis became the traitor on a haunt we're doing for the 4th time right now! She's working with the madman letting in all the specters from the windows. I died quickly from an event. Mel got cornered by several specters but ended up dying from an event before they killed her. Danny and Jeremy managed to exorcism three rooms before the specters swarmed Jeremy and killed him. For revenge Danny as Missy shot Alexis in the face with the revolver he got off my corpse. At this point Danny is hoarding a ridiculous amount of omens and items. Danny ended up getting swarmed by 4 specters yet somehow managed to stun 3 of them and get away. The madman finally freed all the specters and began making a b-line to Danny. Danny managed to exorcise one more room before the madman killed him. After Alexis cleaned the blood off her face and got the screams out of her ears did she finally realize what the things in the mist wanted. Good thing she let them in. Which I guess she realized in hindsight since she’s now a ghost. We were only one exorcism away from winning. We were fucked because we had none of the omens we needed as they were all at the bottom of the omen deck. GG I guess.

Betrayal 33
5 player game with me, Mel, Jeremy, Alexis, and newcomer but old friend Danny Jarvis. Went through the motions exploring when Danny started an expansion haunt and Jeremy became the traitor. Turns out everyone except Jeremy is a ghost as we all hung ourselves from the roof and we're pissed that he's in our house. Meanwhile Jeremy is a 13 year old boy who's a paranormal Investigator who feels he ain't getting paid enough for this shit. He knows we won't let him out alive unless he puts us to rest. He managed to put Mel and Alexis to rest while me and Danny bided our time to get our stats up and better stuff. Just as he took something precious from me, Danny swung in on his rope to Jeremy and shot him in the face with a revolver, killing him. But just like last time Jeremy the traitor he fucked up again badly. Cause it turns out if that gun did nothing, unless his sanity was at its minimum value winning with anything other than sanity wouldn't do shit. And Mel and Alexis wouldn't have been outta the game cause he did the putting to rest shit wrong. Along with all that and his overpowered combo of items he was insanely overpowered so we stood hardly a chance of beating him. So yeah he won. He gathered up the rope we used to hang ourselves along with the tools of his trade as the home finally gets some new owners along with a new coat of paint.
Betrayal 32
5 player game of me, Elizabeth, John, Chris, and Daryl played with the expansion. This game took long as the house got huge and we all stat boosted on 6 different rooms so we were all really high in stats. Eventually the haunt started and Chris became the traitor on a base game haunt. He's working with a witch and her pet cat, it's apparently her house and she's mad I personally took her book (omen card). First Elizabeth found the mandrake root and I gave her the book and she immediately tried to cast the "Form of Mortal" spell on the witch and failed. She passed the root and book to Daryl (Professor Longfellow) who casted the spell successfully and attacked her, but used an adrenaline shot to add 4 to his attack roll and got a 9 to the Witch's 3 might and killed her immediately before Chris could do anything. The witch starts talking mad shit as she's dying. Right as we're about to smash lamps over our heads to shut out her grating voice she is gone... for now. The end we win.

Betrayal 31
6 player game with me, Mel, Chris, and newcomers Elizabeth, Johnny, and Joe who's only played one game. This was played on the base game. Went through the motions when Joe became the traitor. He became the worm ourosboros and immediately ate his girl companion. We managed to cast the weakening spell on both heads immediately. We had a hard time catching up to the heads so we split off into groups of 2. Me and Chris managed to kill one of the heads while Mel and Elizabeth focused on the other head. But after Mel layed 2 hits, it was too late. It had filled the house. Joe won and crushed the house, soon he will circle the world and then the stars.
Betrayal 30
October, 14th, 2016. Yesterday I was wondering when the expansion was coming out, last I checked it was gonna come out either the 23rd or 28th of this month. But when I checked it said tomorrow (today) and I freaked out. So first thing I did was call up Pete (Buddy of mine that owns a nerd store) and asked if he had it. He did so I asked him to hold it for me. Came over a couple hours later and got it (Mel bought it) and now we can move onto the story of the game.
6 player game of me, Mel, Dillon, Josiah, John, and Rachel. We explored the upper floor so we could try out the roof and its new rooms. Got to see some of the new omens, items, and events. Got to use the new explorer tokens and other cool stuff. Anyways went through the motions when I became the traitor in a new haunt from the expansion. I sat on a couch when this adorable cat came up to me. I stared deep into its eyes and realized I would do anything for this cat, anything. He had been sleeping a long time and needed me to free her and her kittens from this evil house so she could take over the world. I first thought I was screwed but I ended up doing good. Kept finding more kittens than the heroes were soothing, they made excellent use of the new dumb waiters but Josiah got himself trapped in a corner so me as Ox killed him . My cat who I will refer to as Precious Tubbsman Esquire slowly made her way to the door. Fearing death, Mel drank a poisonous vial twice and killed herself. My kittens swarmed John and I was about to finish him off when Precious Tubbsman Esquire finally broke through the front door. Me along with Precious Tubbsman Esquire meowed in unison with the kittens as a cat tribe. We then descended down the hill to the nearby town. It's time to feed. I won woohoo. It seems I have a really good track record as a traitor.
Betrayal 29
6 player game with me, Mel, Josiah, John, Dillon, and Rachel. Went through the motions when Josiah became the traitor. We heard him as a little girl scream, we've never heard a sound that horrid from a living being before. We rush to his aid but then realize we are alone. But then we heard shuffling and a harsh, cold laugh. We have a terrible feeling one of our friends has turned foe. Since we couldn't find him we had to wait for him to attack us. But he was being dumb and didn't realize he doesn't have to stay in the room after attacking. But since it would have taken forever for him to kill all of us. Which even if he did, which I doubt. We decided that we win since it was well past midnight. The traitor lies dead now that the evil has left her. She doesn't look so bad now. We don't know why she turned against us; we just hope whatever caused her transformation doesn't bring her back in some, even more hideous form. Maybe he would've won, we'll never know but I doubt it as all it would have taken was stealing the amulet of the ages from him and beating him once.

Betrayal 28
6 player game of me, Mel, Rachel, Josiah, John, and Dillon. Went through the motions when Josiah started the haunt and Rachel became the traitor. "While you were driving to this mansion, one of your companions spoke of a series of grisly deaths that took place here five years ago. A group of teenagers had sneaked away from the safety of their summer camp to explore the House on the hill. They hoped for an amorous interlude... until a madman slaughtered them one by one. Your companion told you that the murderer couldn't be killed and that his mangled body always returns to kill again. Now one of you has seen the madman's picture hanging in the hallway. Judging from the portrait, he looks like he could be a relative of one of your companions - the one who told you the story. Peering through a doorway, you see your traitorous companion standing in a room with bodies stacked like corkwood. And then you hear someone - or something - walk through the front door." Rachel is working with Crimson Jack, a supernatural serial killer who can only be killed permanently with a cursed weapon. We already had the weapon (sacrificial dagger) but just had to study it enough to figure out how to use it against Crimson Jack. We beat him a few times only for him to grow stronger. Eventually we timed it right and Dillon (who was absent at the time, had to leave early, had Josiah play his character) killed him for good but not before he killed Mel. We won! "Crimson Jack shivers in the end of the weapon, but he keeps pushing his way forward, that terrible smile never wavering. Just as his hands reach for your (Dillon’s) neck, Jack fades from view, and your weapon falls to the floor. As you leave, you look at Crimson Jack's portrait on the wall. The killer is gone... for now."
As for Josiah, even after 5 turns he never did get that puzzle box open. I like to think he shot himself with that revolver over sheer frustration of not getting it open.
Betrayal 27
6 player game with me, Josiah, John, Dillon, and newcomers Rachel and Nicholas. A week after the last game. We managed to explore the entire ground floor and the haunt count got as high as 7 till Rachel triggered the haunt with the person to her left, Dillon became the traitor. A tentacled monster came into the house and immediately killed Dillon and now he is the monster. First we needed Rachel to use her crystal ball to find its head. Which after she did, she was immediately grabbed but was able to break free before it killed her. The guys piled into the Mystic elevator to escape the basement filled with tentacles and brought it over to me and gave me an axe to kill the monster and a ring to father Gabriel to defend himself. We brought the Mystic elevator right next to the head. John attacked but got whipped and would've been killed if not for his skull omen (he actually cheated here as he used it to take physical damage as mental, when the skull actually does the opposite and let's you take mental damage as physical). Anyways the tentacles poured into the Elevator and snatched 3 of us. I managed to break free along with the father. So me and John attacked the crap outta of the head and killed the monster before it murdered Josiah and Rachel. Now even though we won because of Jon’s cheating, I still would've won by breaking free repeatedly and attacking the head with my axe so we won with no deaths except for Dillon.
Betrayal 26
5 player game with me, Mel, John, Josiah, and Dillon. Went through the motions till I became the traitor (sorta). I fell asleep in the attic. The eyes of my fleshy cage close and for the first time my subconscious eyes open. Time to set my dreams free, let the screaming begin. My nightmares descended the house, 2 escaped the house immediately as 2 more killed Mel immediately. Josiah kept killing them to prevent them from entering more rooms while the other 2 tried in vain to wake me up. 2 more escaped as my other nightmares killed Dillon. Had 2 more trap John because his low speed prevented escape as they slowly killed him. Eventually despite Josiah’s best efforts the last one escaped and I won. I looked into the eyes of my body but from the outside. With horror, that fleshy cage recognizes its own subconscious. It tries to scream, but the sound is muffled by living nightmares.
